YNW Melly fans, at least one of your prayers have been answered if you’ve been anticipating new music from the Florida heavy-hitter because this week, the incarcerated star will be dropping a full-length project, ‘Melly Vs Melvin’, according to his social media accounts.
Announcing the album by uncovering its official artwork to his social media profiles, Melly has garnered massive support from thousands of fans and an array of his peers, including rappers Trippie Redd, Tee Grizzley, and Tierra Whack as well as his official dj, DJ Shurefire. The artwork features Melly and his alter ego Melvin, side-by-side, and the caption confirming the release date for his ‘Melly Vs. Melvin’ project, November 22.
The highly gifted, yet highly controversial 20-year-old built a solid foundation for himself prior to his arrest on double murder charges in February, and has even dropped a few singles from behind bars. Melly told his fans about plans to drop a mixtape called ‘Free M&M’ in April, however that project has yet to be released on streaming services. In stride, Melly kept the verses coming, appearing on Lil Keed’s “Pull Up” alongside Lil Uzi Vert and dropping “Dangerously in Love (772 Love Pt. 2),” which sampled Beyoncé’s ‘Dangerously in Love’ and Destiny’s Child’s “Cater 2 U”, both released this summer.
What better way to end 2019 than some new YNW Melly?
