Days ago, rapper YG caught some heat after fans accused him of trying to profit from the current Black Lives Matter protests by shooting a music video during the Hollywood protest that he held in conjunction with Black Lives Matter organizers. The backlash did not stop the Cali lyricist from dropping the visual for “FTP (F**k the Police).”

YG leads the revolt against police brutality and systematic racism in the video for his protest anthem  which was shot during a Black Lives Matter demonstration in Hollywood on June 7.

The black-and-white clip features stunning footage of the massive protests sweeping the nation, including those in L.A. YG stands in the middle of demonstrators on Hollywood Blvd as the crowd chants “Fuck the police.” His rally on June 7th brought in a record breaking 100,000 people, which is the largest anti-racism march in L.A.
