Trey Songz has been very local as of late about injustices that blacks continue to face in this country. Now, the R&B singer has finally released the official video for “2020 Riots”; addressing the ongoing unrest following several instances of police brutality, including that of George Floyd, whose murder sparked international protests.

“How many mothers have to cry?” he sings. “How many brothers gotta die? How many more times?” In the video for “2020 Riots: How Many Times,” Trey includes footage of peaceful protesters with very little evidence of “rioting.”

“2020 Riots: How Many Times,” follows other tunes demanding justice in recent months. Lil Baby and Denzel Curry have also released music inspired by the current tense state of affairs.

Take a look at Trey’s powerful visual below.
