The Weeknd is gearing up for the Super Bowl Halftime Show! In a new ad for Pepsi, people can be seen singing and jamming out to the hit song “Blinding Lights”, including a toll booth security guard who gets interrupted by the R&B superstar as he pulls up at a parking lot in a vintage convertible.

Over the years, the Super Bowl Halftime Show has become one of the biggest music events in the entertainment industry. It also happens to be one of the most watched events in American television history.

The Canadian crooner follows in the footsteps of stars such as Beyoncé, Prince, Michael Jackson and so many more.

Back in November, it was announced that the After Hourssinger would be headlining the 2021 Pepsi Super Bowl LV Halftime Show on February 7. “We all grow up watching the world’s biggest acts playing the Super Bowl and one can only dream of being in that position,” the singer said in a statement. “I’m humbled, honored and ecstatic to be the center of that infamous stage this year.”
