Swae Lee is taking over late-night television programming in his latest video for “Someone Said.”
In the playful visual, Swae recreates some famous late night television classics from the 90s including performing the quintessential moves of a boy band member in one infomercial, while working up a sweat selling his Swae-Body Training Program in another. He also uses his charming good looks as a sex hotline operator in another quirky ad.
“Someone Said” is Swae latest single from his upcoming solo project. In recent months, rumors of the group splitting up has floated around.
However, although he and his brother will be releasing solo tracks, Swae let it be known that the duo is still very much a group. In fact, in addition to individual releases, he revealed that they are hard at work on SremmLife 4, the fourth installment in their popular SremmLife series.
“I’m good , Slim Jimmy good. we two different individuals MORE SOLO songs on the way,” he tweeted, “and SremmLife 4 on the way we two different types of artists and that’s gone be respected.”
Swae is currently keeping busy, opening for Post Malone on his “Runaway Tour,” which will run through March 21st. Following in April, the 26-year-old rapper-rockstar will perform his first solo set at Coachella.
