Omarion recently sat down with “Sway in the Morning” during his Millennium Tour promo run, where he made some interesting comments on women and marriage.
While many would disappear into desolation after having their personal life aired out to the world by their ex and former friend/bandmate, Omarion has not let the messiness interfere with his life nor his money.
However, Omarion did disclose that marriage was not in the cards for him following the scandal, but not due to fears of infidelity. Instead, he fears losing the financial stability that he has worked so hard to amas if a divorce were to occur.
Omarion also revealed that he does not believe in marriage in the traditional sense, nor is he too thrilled about monogamy.
“I don’t know that I’ve been motivated or inspired to feel like I can be with one woman. I don’t know that one woman has rocked my world like that, where I feel like, oh yo. I’m definitely a faithful person, I stand by my words and what Imma say Imma do, but that’s a tricky question. I believe in it, though. I believe in it, but I don’t know that it’s for me.”
He continued on, saying “People ask me about dating. Can I really date? I don’t know. I could develop a relationship with someone. I can build with someone, but that’s gon’ take time. So, why categorize it or put any expectation on it when we’re both exploring.”
