Megan Thee Stallion is making her directorial debut with the brand new video for her latest single, “Captain Hook” from her recently released EP Suga.
“Captain Hook” is swiftly become a fan favorite amongst fans and birthing the #captainhookchallenge on Instagram.
The video opens up with a cornrow adorned Megan seated at a table with a fellow hottie in a heated writing session before she performs her single in a recording booth in front of what is presumably a few engineers. The studio then fills up with a few sexy gals and guys who continue to turn up as Meg spits the raunchy bars in the booth.
Suga is expected to sell 37k–42k copies in the first week, placing her at an impressive #10, considering her label woes with 1501 Certified Entertainment. Watch the visual below. It’s self-directed.
Despite a few platinum plaques and even full bodies of work under her belt, Suga serves as only a sneak peak of what’s to come, with her long awaited debut album dropping later this year.
