Jhené Aiko will drop her anxiously awaited album, Chilombo, in just a week. Ahead of the project, Jhené Aiko has released the latest single from the 20 track project, her collab with hitmakers Future and Miguel on “Happiness Over Everything (H.O.E.).”
Future does what he does best, delivering his singy-rappy vocals over the L.A. situated remake of her original 2011 track “Hoe,” which also features Miguel. while Jhené and Miguel croon the “Happiness over everything / Over anything / And it’s everything to me.”
The visual captures the essence of a luau-themed party with those closest to the singer making guest appearances throughout the party, including her sister singer Mila J, and their parents. Jhené moves through the crowd, single and mingling, while sexy fire dancers entertain her guests.
Chilombo will be available on streaming platforms March 6th and will include previously released singles “Triggered (freestyle)” and “P*$$y Fairy (OTW).” The album also features guest appearances from her rumored boo, Big Sean, Nas, her father, Dr. Chill., H.E.R., John Legend, Ty Dolla $ign, and more. In honor of the latest project, she’ll also kick off the “Magic Hour Tour” in May as headliner, with Queen Naija joining her on select dates. The tour will travel about the U.S. and Canada before concluding June 27th at the St. Kitts Music Festival.
