Fans have been patiently awaiting a new project from Gunna, who has not released a full body of work since last February’s Drip of Drown 2. After months of teasing a new album, Gunna has finally unveiled the release date for his forthcoming Wunna project.

Gunna has been teasing the release of his new album Wunna for quite some time. Today, he has announced that it will drop on May 22nd via Young Stoner Life Records and 300 Entertainment.

Gunna revealed that the project will be arriving on May 22nd when he debuted the trailer for his upcoming Spike Jordan-directed Amazon documentary. The film follows Gunna as he records his new album in Jamaica and will presumably drop the same day as the album.

The first single from Wunna was “Skybox,” which dropped back in March. You can take a peek at that visual as well at the doc trailer below.
