NYC’s Legendary Drama King, DJ KAY SLAY via Street Sweepers Entertainment / Empire debuted his highly anticipated album entitled “ACCOLADES”. Some are calling the new EP his best work yet. The 8 Track Album which features over 110 artists like: Dave East, Papoose, Loaded Lux, Fred The Godson, Conway the Machine, Black Rob, Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, Jim Jones, The Game, Styles P, and more was met with outstanding reviews by fans and critics alike. Just 3 days prior to the official album release date, DJ KAY SLAY, a well-respected Hot 97 & Shade 45 Radio DJ, Music Exec and CEO of Straight Stuntin’ Magazine celebrated his upcoming project privately with only a handful of his closest family, friends, colleagues, Artists and media during a Star-Studded INVITE Only Album Release Party. The event, which was presented by DJ KAY SLAY along with WillC & Tana from STREETHEAT, came together to throw the official party for “Accolades” at NYC’s Quad Studios Event Space. While bottles of Champagne popped throughout the night in celebration, guests were treated to food while being given an exclusive sneak peek of the songs from DJ KAY SLAYS “ACCOLADES” that would debut later in the week.
The room was filled with genuine love and support from some who have either known DJ Kay Slay from the very start of his 22 year career, some who had met and worked with him during his journey while others in attendance were artists who had credited KAY SLAY as the very DJ to break them and their music into the Industry. Guests that were in attendance included: Papoose, VADO, Dave East, Sheek Louch, Herb McGruff, Tony Moxberg, Producer King Flow, Shooter 93, Stan Spit, Nizzle Man, S. Dinero , Lady Shabk, Harley Tha Dolly, Talk it Trigga, The General, Suits, Chrissy D, Reef and models from Kay Slays- Straight Stuntin Magazine. DJ Spazzo played music during the night.
DJ KAY SLAY has been credited as being the very first to break artists into the industry and for introducing us to mega hits like: NAS 2001, 50 Cent’s UP IN THE CLUB, Dipset’s OH BOY and Terror Squad’s LEAN BACK just to name a few.
His new album “ACCOLADES” -produced by: Trackateering Music features songs like his new single: “Rolling 110 Deep”, a never before done type of single featuring 110 rappers of Hip Hop Pioneers and New School Rappers all within a 40-minute track. STREAM THE SONG!

The single, he says is his way of “contributing to the culture by putting together both the OG’s legends of HIP HOP with new up and coming artists making noise in the game right now. I’m giving them a platform to be seen and heard among the masses.” He goes on to say that never once did he need to switch up his formula for success during the 22 years he has been in the music industry. “Enjoying what I do, staying true to myself and the game- That’s the key to feeling like you are never working a day in your life. That’s also the reason I’m still here over 20 years later.” With no plans to retire in the future, DJ KAY SLAY- The Drama King is not only in the building, he is here to stay and he’s making history.
