Verzuz never fails when it comes to the pairings of artist in all genres. We’ve seen Snoop Dogg Vs DMX, Fabolous Vs Jadakiss, Brandy Vs Monica and most recently we would’ve had Ashanti vs Keyshia Cole. Unfortunately Ashanti tested positive for COVID-19 and was unable to participate. This past Saturday E-40 & Too Short went head to head live on Instagram. The Bay area rappers didn’t hold anything back and pulled out all the stops. The battle was hosted at a studio in San Fransisco. Like all the previous Verzuz battles, this too included an endless supply of Circo. Apparently this has been the most expensive Verzuz battle yet. They had street signs reppin Oakland and Vallejo, an old school custom G-rides to capture the feel of Oakland where the two are from.

Both rappers represented the best of both worlds. They started out with old school vs. new school. They even shouted out all the artist from the Bay Area. Their DJs spun all the major records from various cities in the Bay. Some of the artist they featured were Goapele, Dru Down and DJ Che. Some of the segments in the battle involved a geography lesson of the Bay, a tribute to Tupac, the iconic “Hyphy” sound and much much more. The battle was definitely one to watch and one to remember. See the link below to see what a few celebrities had to say about the iconic verzuz battle.
