Two of R&B’s heavyweights have announced on Instagram that they are teaming up for a joint album this year.

In the photo of Joe and Ty are seated under the stars in a Rolls-Royce Wraith, the caption read,  “#ForTheCulture It’s official……… Tyrese and Joe duo #EP coming….. Likely I’m the biggest fan of Joe…… He’s a true legend with too many R&B classics… Can y’all imagine a whole R&B Fall tour…?? To all of my GO to producers, writers it’s time!!!! #2020 #GrownRnB #NameThatTune Top 5 Joe and Tyrese Songs….⁉️”

The duo also confirmed the project last week during a stop by Los Angeles KJLH 102.3 and Big Boy’s Neighborhood.
Tyrese’s last album, 2015’s Black Rose debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 and Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. Joe became television’s most notable voice as he performed the theme song for 50 Cent’s hit series “Power.”

There is no definitive release date. However, from the looks of last week promo runs and the announcement, it is safe to say that fans won’t have to wait much longer.
