Trump sat down with Axios and spoke on the arrest of Epstein’s girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell.

The President of the United States expressed that he wished the accused child sex trafficker well. “Yeah, I wish her well. I’d wish you well. I’d wish a lot of people well. Good luck. Let them prove somebody was guilty,” said Trump. When told about the charges against Ghislaine Maxwell, Trump stated “ First of all, I don’t know that.”

“Her boyfriend died in jail and people are still trying to figure out how did it happen. Was it suicide? Was he killed? And I do wish her well. I’m not looking for anything bad for her. I’m not looking bad for anybody,” Trump continued suggesting that Epstein’s death could’ve been murder.

Ghislaine Maxwell is currently being charged with enticing a minor to travel to engage in criminal sexual activity, transporting a minor with the intent to engage in criminal sexual activity, conspiracy to commit both of those offenses, and perjury in connection with a sworn deposition.
