The Netflix’ 2019, Rhythm + Flow music series competition, revealed a true gem to the Hip-Hop world. Troy Curry, the artist known as “TrOymaN” was a finalist who truly made a name for himself after, “Streetlights” produced by Tae Keith went viral. He took his talents from the Bay Area of California straight to Atlanta – which has become the Mecca of some of the hottest rap artists on the charts. Although he stands alone in a lane carved out just for him, he attributes his success to the memory of his mother who passed before he released his first project, A.P.R.I.L. (A Period of Infinite Life). It set the tone and he’s been creating powerful music ever since.
“TrOymaN’s” lyrical flow is smooth and his delivery is intentional as he draws you in with the hook in his newly released single, “YKTV” (You Know The Vibe)produced by Jacko. It’s catchy and it’s on its way to becoming an anthem in the Hip-Hop Anthems’ Hall of Fame if there was one. His foundation is strong as it comes on the heels of his previous projects, “Blessings” and his 2020 EP “Insomniac” which left his audience craving for more. Publicist Lynn Hobson boasts, “TrOymaN has accumulated awards and his talent has been recognized by some of the industry’s elite. Although he has made appearances on BET’s“Wild Out Wednesday” and he’s received awards recognizing his talent, he remains to stay humble as the credits roll in his career.” If the saying is true that real artists are born and not created, TrOyMaN is definitely poised to become one of the greatest Hip-Hop artists of his generation.
