J’Mill points his destiny toward greatness. An actor since age 4, his career has taken him to films like Shaft, The House With A Clock In Its Walls, and John Henry. He’s shared the silver screen with Samuel L. Jackson, Terry Crews, and Ludacris. J’Mill plays Dillon James on the television show All American. In February, the CW renewed the show for a fourth season. “Its my 1st series regular,” said J’Mill. “It got me to a point where i liked what I had accomplished.”

J’Mill highlighted the intimate bonds between his fellow cast members. “It’s just family,” he went on. “There’s no dull moments. There’s not a moment where I feel out of place. It’s all about family, and building each other up when we need it.”

Though he’s accomplished as an actor, model, and dancer, J’Mill has more tricks up his sleeve. Prior to stepping into a recording studio, the young entrepreneur pens songs on his phone. “That’s what i think is best for me,” said J’Mill. “I hear the beat and then try to incorporate the lyrics into the beat. J’Mill’s latest single “One Of A Kind” shows him hyping a determined, “old fashioned” kind of work ethic. “You don’t just want to get there and not have any memories,” J’Mill explained. “A lot of people think they are entitled to a lot of things. You have to put in a lot of work before you can truly call it yours.”

On “One Of A Kind,” J’Mill declares, “All the pain I’ve been through, past it. Turned it into a passion.” Expounding on this idea, he said, “A lot of the ups and downs of the business are very painful. Most of the time, you can get discouraged.” Undeterred, J’Mill pressed on. “You can feel a lot of the hurt and you can be down,” he admitted. “That has happened to everybody. It’s happened to me, it happens a lot. I am so happy that I was abba to power through it, and keep working harder.”

J’Mill could not contain his excitement about his next film role. He stars alongside Labron James and Bugs Bunny in Space Jam: A New Legacy. “I’m really proud of that,” said J’Mill. “And there’s still a constant grind. Work doesn’t stop just because COVID is happening. Theres still many things that need doing. I’m just ready to do it.” Fans can rest assured, there’s much more music from J’Mill in the pipeline. “There’s a lot of things that I aspire to do, but nothing concrete yet. We’re thinking about what’s best for me right now.” When asked for a final word for fans, J’Mill said, “Thank you for all that you guys have done for me! Just know that I’m here for anybody! I love all my fans like my family. I’ll never forget you.”
