What a time we live in where black female entrepreneurs are on the rise and the world has lifted the stigma on cannabis use and became more educated on its market demand.

Capitalizing on this, entrepreHER Danyel Thompson has rose to the occasion to make her founded company 4TwentyDecor a modern-day urban luxury must have for high rollers (literally). Thompson is a visionary whom combines her expertise of technology, fashion and cannabis accessories – Three of the leading industries in today’s world.

HHW: We love to celebrate Black Excellence and especially Black women. Tell us how your background in technology and fashion got you here today? And how did it lead to adding cannabis accessories to the mix?

Danyel Thompson: I have a lengthy resume in technology, and I appreciate the fine elements of fashion.  The collaborations of these two industries are just something inevitable and will become more common in the future. Mix that with cannabis and we have a product that cannot be matched.

HHW: Cannabis is heavily promoted in Hip Hop, how do you think your products cater to the demographic and community?

Danyel Thompson: 4TwentyDecor is like having your exclusive Tom Ford’s on at the Roc Nation’s annual pre-Grammy Brunch while blazing with Snoop with that high grade as your own personal entourage surrounds you for security – All of that is relatable and speaks to our community like a whisper in the wind – we hear that ish!

HHW: Which black celebrities (not assuming they are smokers) would you love to see be a 4Twenty brand ambassador and why?

Danyel Thompson: When people encounter 4TwentyDecor they immediately start shouting out with excitement the celebrities that I should reach out to; a few names (probably obvious) are P.Diddy, Snoop, Wiz Khalifa and Jadakiss and my reply is, “I am game!” I did as why those 4 (just out of curiosity) and the responses, P.Diddy loves over-the-top things and the others love to smoke!  That’s pretty much a great description of 4TwentyDecor if 4TwentyDecor was a person ha-ha!

HHW: Can you tell us about your product(s) debut and what features you think stand out about it?

Danyel Thompson: 4TwentyDecor and myself are going on tour like a rapper promoting their new release ha!  We are hitting up the latest lavish parties across national and international waters – as long as Cannabis is legal, we will be there!

There is so much to stand out with this product.  It could be the LED lights features or the phone charger inside the box capability or it could be the fact that is pretty sexy as hell; it really depends on the user but no worries I have thought of you all!  Think of this as your “new designer weed”!

HHW: What advice would you give to aspiring black female entrepreneurs?

Danyel Thompson: I would say know your excellence and make others step up to yours.  As an entrepreneur, you are funding everything and you are crafting every step.  When you work with people to create your vision don’t let them give you secondary – Speak up! Remember it’s your money and name on the line don’t let no one keep you at average cause they are! And don’t be loyal until they can produce what you ask – I will work with you if you match my business goals but if you don’t I will have that quick “you are being released” meeting with no question. It’s your investment – protect that ish!

HHW: When and where can we find 4TwentyDecor products?

Danyel Thompson: We will be starting that online exclusive pre-order release of the multi-tech Décor in March 2022.  It’s exciting cause there will be limited multi-tech’s available and plenty of people will want to show off that they are that exclusive. It’s going to be exciting.
