Love & Hip Hop‘s Trina is facing some serious backlash after her recent comments about protesters, referring to them as “animals.” As people are protesting in the streets demanding for justice after George Floyd’s killing by Minneapolis police, some are also taking advantage of the situation by starting riots. In Miami, there was looting in the streets – people breaking windows and ransacking businesses.

Trina then shared her opinion on social media, saying “keep everybody off the streets, these animals off the streets” and after the public dragged her name on Twitter, she attempted to explain the comment she had made.

“Nobody wants to see our communities being burnt down or torn down or ambushed, because this is still our community, our property, our place that we gotta go.”

Earlier this week, Trina returned with a lengthy apology, in regards to her previous remarks. “From the bottom of my heart, I sincerely apologize for any grief I have caused,” she said.
