Chris Arvan

Chris Arvan is a successful artist and musician. He is a multi-talented individual who doubles as a guitarist, composer, and photographer. He is currently building a successful career as an NFT artist where he is combining music and art in a unique, different way. Chris has had some of his artwork exhibited at various NFT events, including the Stratosphere exhibition in Beijing, China; at the Bitcoin Conference in Miami, Florida; and at the George Lopez Foundation charity event and auction.

Chris has also had a successful career as an artist, achieving notable accomplishments, such as composing the music for the official trailer of the Oscar-nominated film 1917. Music was his ideal career path until he lost his hearing in his late 40’s. As he’d lost his ability to hear, his band could no longer continue making music. Fortunately, Chris was lucky to find solace in his old passion for the art world. He quickly turned to draw and paint not only for leisure but also to keep his creative mind engaged.

What started as a passion quickly scaled to become a viable career path. Chris found so much success in the field. His artworks have done exceptionally well at various events and exhibitions. Chris also leveraged the fast-spreading NFT technology to market and sell his artwork.

Though he has since regained his hearing, Chris has chosen to continue pursuing his NFT career as there is so much potential in the industry. But this does not imply that he has wholly dropped his music career; Chris has learned to combine the two art forms with a very unique approach. It is a particular skill that took him over 30 years to develop. He terms himself as a multi-instrumentalist and producer who mixes and masters all of his own music.

“I am combining music and art differently. I am removing the border between them as separate parts of the creation process individually. Both work together as parts of a song would, and I’m extending the creative process into both media. The visuals are not ‘audio-reactive,’ nor are they ‘scored to’ music. Instead, both play off each other and work at the same time, just like how I would produce a song or piece of music,” says Chris.

One of the major lessons in Chris‘s journey to the top is the importance of never giving up no matter how tough the going gets. He has always found the energy to bounce back after every challenge. In addition, Chris terms failure as an essential part of creating an essential learning curve for any artist.

Chris also lauds the power of keeping on trying and facing your fears in pursuit of what you want to achieve. As a musician who once lost his hearing, Chris knows a thing or two about embracing your circumstances and believing that there’s a solution. To him, you never get to know what gifts there may be in something that may look negative at first glance. His advice to everyone out there is to learn to embrace your fears and never let go of your dreams.
