Tiffany Haddish has finally confirmed that she and Chicago rapper Common are in a relationship.
“This is hands down the best relationship I’ve ever been in. I’ve lost 20 pounds since I’ve been in this relationship. I feel more confident in me and it’s not him that’s doing it, ”Haddish revealed on the “Steve-O’s Wild Ride!” podcast.
The 40-year-old “Girl’s Trip” actress continued to gush over her Grammy-winning boo, who she met on the set of the 2019 crime drama, “The Kitchen.”
“I’m just way happier and it’s like knowing I got somebody that cares about me, that really has my back. It seems like he does anyways. And I love it. I love him.” She went on to explain how their relationship began following working together. “I made out with him in the movie and we became friends, but it wasn’t like anything sexual or anything like that because my eyes were set on something else.”
Haddish has previously been open about joining the dating app Bumble last year before she and Common’s relationship became more exclusive.
“At this point our friendship was getting a little more than friendship but not quite ’cause COVID happened and we were quarantined,” Haddish said.
They eventually went on a virtual date through a charity partnership with Bumble that eventually blossomed into much more and the rest was history.
“He got tested for everything, I got tested for everything, and yeah, we been fu**in’,” Haddish proudly blurted out.
While Haddish has always come off as an outspoken character with little coyness, Common has maneuvered about his career in a more reserved manner, rarely speaking publicly about his relationships. Nevertheless, opposites always seem to attract. Best of wishes to the happy couple.
