Jackie’s next goal to tackle is producing an episodic series similar to Issa Rae’s Insecure. She has been networking and speaking with cinema gurus and other creatives to make her vision a reality. Her networks expand vastly into many streams of the entertainment pool, including her work as aforementioned, serving as a past intern for Def Jam Records, and sharing her one and only son with hip hop legend Trick Daddy. She and Trick have a healthy co-parenting dynamic and their son, Jay, even has plans of joining his dad on the cast of Love & Hip Hop: Miami in the upcoming seasons. To maintain this cohesiveness, Jackie has done her due diligence of intentionally keeping herself distanced from any media and gossip to prevent negative drama within their family structure. After working tirelessly to build her platform, Ms. Wade decided to reach back and lift up via her nonprofit, The Covergirl Foundation. The objective is to address the critical need for programs specifically for young girls that will help them to learn their own talents, interests, and skill sets around positive influence. She has already done charity work with little girls and has been planning methods to execute the organizational mission for over 5 years. Jackie noticed how participants and their families value the messages shared during events as well as program outcomes, so she decided to keep the momentum going. and did, she wanted to use that in a positive way. She wants to influence young girls in the same fashion that monumental women such as Phylicia Rashad and Queen Latifah did for her.

Furthermore, Jackie remains a creator even in her spare time. She is a major crafter and DIY’er, mastering the arts of re-upholstery, painting, wood staining, light interior design, and more.
