The mid-season finale for ‘Power’ titled ‘No One is Going to Stop Me’ was absolutely intense. Ghost (Omari Hardwick) advances in life are abruptly falling apart as he loses his family after hitting his soon to be ex-wife Tasha (Naturi Naughton). Ghost’s son Tariq (Michael Rainey Jr) had enough of his Father and wants nothing to do with him after he found out from his mom about the fight that turned violent.
Ghost also has stressful situations going on outside of his family life. His once best friend Tommy (Joseph Sikora) wants him dead. Tommy thinks Ghost killed his girlfriend LaKeisha (La La Anthony), when in fact Tasha did the evil deed to prevent LaKeisha from snitching to the Feds.
Ghost also has to endure the stress of Councilman Tate (Larenz Tate) who was just informed that Ghost betrayed him. The Councilman wants to destroy Ghost so he teamed up with the Feds to possibly get him put away behind bars.
Will Ghost be able to survive the final season? From the looks of it, he may not make it. There is sure to be more plot-twists for the remainder of the final season. Make sure to be on the lookout for the remaining episodes coming in 2020.
