Adriyan Rae, Analisa Velez and Vaughn Hebron are casted as the three new lead characters. Rae will play Brittany Pitts, the daughter of Jason and Kelly Pitts. Hebron will play Jamison Fields, an undrafted free agent, and Velez will be Raquel Navarro, Brittany’s best friend.

Original cast members Brittany Daniel and Pooch Hall will also make special appearances on the series playing their original roles as Kelly Pitts and Derwin Davis. The executive producers will remain Mara Brock Akil and Sailm Akil, whom produced the original series, alongside Devon Greggory as the showrunner.

The synopsis is described as: “The new series will relocate from San Diego to Las Vegas and will see new players offer a modern-day examination of Black culture through the prism of pro football. The team will tackle racism, sexism, classism and more as they fight for fame, fortune, respect and love—all while trying to maintain their souls as they each play The Game.”
