Emerging Saint Louis Artist Sunny Rain is on the rise after dropping her single “Country Gramma”. Rain speaks on the influences of creating this record being her hometown Saint Louis, the St. Louis Lunatics and all things STL. The curated sounds produced by Sunny Rain are easily distinguishable with highlights on funk, soul, and hip hop. When you hear her, you know exactly who it is. The “Country Gramma” video shot by Nico Nel captures the suave demeanor of Rain letting people know she is not to be played with. Sunny Rain also talks about those that inspired her growing up like Mia X, Da Brat, Missy Elliot. Women that were shameless and go really hard with their music.  “It was really an amazing era of music,” says Rain. Sunny Rain has definitely made a footprint with the visuals and sounds of “Country Gramma.” We are excited to see what she has next.
