Hailing from New York City, Yung Raf is making significant steps ahead in just two years of working with Grammy Award winner Lil Eddie. From his grassroots beginnings in the Washington Projects: where “the rats and roaches slap box in the walls and housing providers never fixing any broken items” to the grace of collaborating with Jason Derulo, Steff London and more, Yung Raf is indeed a star in the making.
Yung Raf’s journey has never been a walk in the park. The talented artist vividly recalls forgetting his music lines in the opening act of Suesical The Musical in the first school play. He narrates, ‘I just remember being terrified and making words up.’ His other unforgettable experience was “shaking uncontrollably” while singing Hallelujah (the Bon Jovi version) in front of the school. “I still nailed it. I reminisced about the reaction and loved the feeling of hearing the school applaud; I felt invincible.” Yung Raf added.
Yung Raf currently resides in Los Angeles, where a bidding war is taking place among various major labels. Raf takes pride in collaborating with your top favorite legends in the music industry. The icon has co-written a song on Coco Jones’ upcoming album and was further graced to co-vocal produce songs on superstar Steff London’s forthcoming project.
From the word go, Broken Heart Club has been on Yung Raf’s team, pushing him to get closer to his dreams. The winning team, Broken Hearts Club, has previously teamed up with P Diddy and Simon Cowell. All led by the legend Lil Eddie, who is a Grammy award winner and 12 times nominated in every genre.
Rich in experience, Lil Eddie’s production Company choreographed the stars like Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson to Bad Bunny, and it is with no doubt that Young Raff will soon be a household name in the music world.
