2020 has been a big year for the Kingston, Jamaica born artist. Skip Marley dominated the first ever Reggae cypher at the Hip Hop Awards and now he has been nominated for two categories at the Soul Train Awards.

Hip Hop Weekly host, Driune Santana, checked in with Skip Marley as he spoke about working with Ari Lennox and Rick Ross for his visual to “Make Me Feel” at Soul Train Awards press conference.

“I mean that’s huge! Rick Ross living in Miami that was great that we could cross each other’s path. With Ari, I was familiar with her music, but I could never put the name with the music. So when we finally got to meet, it was a natural vibe. It was a beautiful link up and the video was just natural.”

“BET Presents: Soul Train Awards” airs on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at 8:00PM EST on BET NETWORKS
