Out of Los Angeles comes Sami Siteman, a singer-songwriter who grew up with a passion for music. Her father, who has played guitar for most of his life, helped foster her love for music. Siteman describes songwriting as “one of the most cathartic and healing life experiences” for her. She draws songwriting inspiration from a variety of genres such as pop, country, singer/songwriter, rock, and jazz.
Laying on the crossroads between pop, singer/songwriter, and country music, Sami’s own music pulls from inspirations like Sara Bareilles, Kacey Musgraves, and Carly Pearce. Her favorite part of the song creation process is the songwriting itself. She has taught herself to produce, mix, and master and though she hasn’t done it for all of her songs just yet, she has plans to in the future. When she is not doing music, you can find her working as a Product Strategist for a digital design and engineering consulting company.
Sami wants to forever continue sharing her passions with the world, and she will be releasing one song a month for the next four months starting in April. Her newest single “25”, out on 4/15, is about growing, pushing through challenging times, and loving where you are at in the present. Sami has an exciting year ahead of her as her amazing talent and genuine passion for music come into the spotlight.
