Rihanna is still leading fans on a wild chase for new music.
In the four years since her last critically acclaimed album, “ANTI” the mogul has launched a propitious makeup and lingerie line, Fenty Beauty and Savage x Fenty. She also entered into the world of luxury fashion, with her Fenty clothing line, a collaborative release with fashion house, LVMH. Quite understandably, music has taken a backseat to the 31-year-olds many other fruitful endeavors, which has afforded the title of wealthiest female artist in the world.
However, fans have been less than understanding, as they flood the singers social media with pleas for new music on a daily basis, since the announcement of ‘R9,” her next album to be released.
Last year during a sit down with Vogue, Rihanna shared a few details about her next album, further fueling fans anticipation.
“I like to look at it as a reggae-inspired or reggae-infused album,” she revealed. “It’s not gonna be typical of what you know as reggae.”
Despite the fan haggle, RiRi revealed that she is enjoying leading her fans on here and there during a recent interview with ET.
“Dot dot dot. To be continued,” she joked. “I like to antagonize my fans a little bit. Well, they antagonize me, too! So, they get it right back.”
Fans will simply have to indulge in the world of Fenty products if they want a dose of they’re favorite bad gal any time soon.
