Ricky Niemann, most commonly known by his stage name RICKY, is a rising star in the music industry. Growing up in Santa Rosa, California RICKY knew at a young age that he wanted to be a rap star. His father introduced him to rock n roll royalty Elvis Presley, and The Beatles which sparked RICKY’s love for music. He got his start in the music industry as a promoter for Showout Entertainment. At only the age of 14 RICKY rose to become a top promoter within the company and put on some of the most memorable events in the North Bay area.
When he turned 18, RICKY decided to channel his energy into creating his own music. He began crafting his skill with a pen and paper and signed himself under his own record label, Rose City Entertainment LLC. RICKY has been diligently working with his producer DJ Shabazz and on March 4th he will be releasing his debut single “OD”.
“OD” is inspired by wanting to live a party lifestyle and not wanting to OD. RICKY raps over a smooth guitar melodic beat and backs it up with strong emotionally driven lyrics. After seeing rap legends Mac Miller, Lil Peep, and JuiceWrld tragically pass away from drugs, RICKY felt obligated to open his heart and make a song dedicated to these legends.
When listening to his music RICKY hopes his fans “leave with a feeling that they are
understood. I want them to understand that someone else is going through the same things
they are.”
This will be a monumental year for the young rapper so make sure you check out “OD” on
Spotify, and follow RICKY on Instagram for all updates regarding his latest music.
