It’s no stretch to say that forming human connection through music has always been one of the most transcendent experiences, especially if you ask Columbia born and LBC (Long Beach, CA) raised artist Richie Alexander

It’s universal. the language of GOD.”

Destined to make music that moves you, this well versed artist doesn’t miss, with newly released heartbreaking singles like Ex Novio  – Ex Boyfriend -that may indeed make you think of your ex (you’ve been warned) to collaborative club hits such as AdictoAddicted -– with fellow music sensation Da Wheelz – whose title isn’t too far off as it’s almost a certainty that you’ll repeatedly listen to this track.

Richie started producing and experimenting with sound at the mere age of 15, where he first became captivated by the artform, meticulously listening to the percussions and melodies bellowing out of his childhood home. With this inspiration originating from his father, Richie continued to explore and become heavily influenced by notable musicians such as Usher, Daddy Yankee, and Nicky Jam.

The columbian artist notes: “Theres so many artists to name, but they all have one thing in common: they love the craft and they all try to perfect it everyday.”

With an alikeness to regal reggaeton stars such as Bad Bunny and J Balvin, this South American hit-maker notes that his debut album, Playa Larga, has been a long time coming.

“It feels like it’s been such a journey. I’ve been working on new music for a while now and all those ideas are now coming to life and being able to record, mix and master these songs is a very beautiful feeling.”

Combining musical elements between multiple genres such as hip-hop, RnB, and reggaeton –  Richie Alexander’s debut Playa Larga is sure to have a track for anyone and everyone, yes las reinas (the queens) and the bad boys, too.
