As the summer is quickly coming to an end, Reno K.O.Q (King Of Queens) made sure to drop off new heat. For his new single titled, “For Me,” the Queens rhymer tapped the lovely songstress, Jai Emm. Their collaboration cultivated the perfect summer anthem before it’s over.
The Vagrant Real Estate-produced record gives an all new spin to the classic “Loungin”. His modern day rendition takes us back to the ‘90s while paying all time great LL Cool J. When speaking on the inspiration behind his most recent release, Reno goes on to say:
“I wanted something to channel the energy of the era and to also connect with listeners. After 2020 I wanted to allow people to release their frustrations, I wanted them back outside back to connecting with each other”
Although this NY rapper remains as an indie artist, his grind and musical present doesn’t go unnoticed. Continuously making noise on the music scene, Reno has performed at a number of shows from NYC to DC.
Fans have witnessed the next up from Queens at the world famous Howard University Homecoming, Bar 7 (DC) to Santos Party House (Manhattan).
Additionally, his talents and relationships within the industry have landed him great opportunities throughout his music career. For example, it placed him on a couple of Rap heavy-hitter Yo Gotti’s North American tours. In the past, Reno has also hit the SXSW stage. Reno’s new music continues to push the boundaries and set the tone for the emerging emcee.
