In September, Bobby Shmurda was denied parole and court documents have now revealed why.
According to TMZ, board members denied Bobby’s release due to “multiple” violations in jail. Allegedly the Brooklyn rapper was in possession of drugs and a shank. Fighting was also mentioned in the court documents.
Bobby Shmurda is not in agreement with the Board. The transcripts reveal Bobby stating he was no longer impulsive, he takes time to think about others and walks away from bad situations. He expresses that he sees himself as a “leader” and wants to get involved in outreach programs. The “Hot N****” rapper even plans on getting a high school G.E.D.
The board feels Bobby Shmurda is not fully rehabilitated due to his multiple violations. He has no choice but to serve his full 7-year sentence. His set release date is December 11, 2021.
