Twenty six year old, Chicago rapper Lil Reese (Chief Keef affiliate) has been shot just outside of Chicago. According to reports, authorities responded to the scene Monday afternoon. Upon arrival, they located a vehicle with fresh blood in the drivers seat. Upon further investigation, it was determined that the victim was Tavares Taylor, known as Lil Reese. Witnesses stated that after the shooting, Reese was picked up by friends and transported to a local hospital, where his condition has been listed as “critical”.
However, fellow Chicago rapper, Lil Durk tweeted out “Reese Good,” leading fans to believe that his injuries were not as serious.
The shooting comes months after the rapper was beaten up on camera, an altercation that went viral on social media. There is no word on if these two incidents are related.
