‘Queen & Slim’ Soundtrack Features Lauryn Hill, Megan Thee Stallion, Lil’ Baby And More

The highly anticipated film ‘Queen & Slim’ from Grammy award winning director Melina Matsoukas and Emmy-winning writer Lena Waithe, is due in theaters November 27th…but the soundtrack will be released next month via Motown Records and we are here for it!

The label has already released the film’s lead single “Collide” by Tiana Major9 & Earthgang, with the music video shot in London. In addition to “Collide”, the 17-song soundtrack also features new tracks from Lauryn Hill, Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Baby, Vince Staples, 6lack, Coast Contra, BJ The Chicago Kid and Syd, plus classic songs by Roy Ayers, Bilal, Mike Jones, and others. According to The Source, Blood Orange composed the film’s score and is also featured on the soundtrack.

‘Queen & Slim’ is being labeled as a modern-day, black Bonnie & Clyde and the official trailer will make you want to check it out and decide for yourself. Peep the trailer below.
