More About Vedo
The R&B singer-songwriter first found widespread recognition for his velvety smooth vocals on Season Four of NBC’s The Voice when selected by none other than Usher- who he attributes as one of his biggest influences and now mentor. VEDO’s passion for music began as a young child making his debut at his then church choir in Benton Harbor, Michigan. Coming from a family of musicians, VEDO’s father played the saxophone, older brother sang gospel, and grandmother played bass. At the age of fourteen, Atlanta became his new home where his love for songwriting and producing grew fonder. It was during this time throughout high school where he uploaded covers of Chris Brown, Whitney Houston, Hall & Oates, and Adele to his YouTube gaining nationwide visibility. Fast-forward to years of writing and perfecting his craft, the soulful singer is now a Multi-Platinum acclaimed songwriter; working with stars like Usher, Ella Mai, and Chris Brown all while simultaneously creating his own chart topping hits like You Got It. VEDO has stayed true to his love for music and R&B. His music transcends, with influences from such greats as Stevie Wonder and The Temptations, creating his own legacy that would make such legends before him proud.
