Charles Walker, also known as Lil’ Kaycee, was born July 24th, 1995 in Harlem, New York. He was raised in Jamaica Queens, New York by his grandmother and father who passed away when he was at the tender age of nine years old. Walker was a big fan of sports, and he chose to put his heart into the game of football. He landed a scholarship to play college football at North Dakota State College of Science. He worked hard and was invited to the NFL Combine in 2018; however, Walker was tragically shot twenty-three times and couldn’t attend. He fought for his life in the hospital where he was in a coma for three days due to the injuries he sustained. He pushed through and made a full recovery, yet sadly was no longer able to fulfill his dreams of playing professional football. Walker decided to follow his passion for music, his second love, and make a career out of it.
Walker makes a big statement in the industry with his new single, “Left Me for Dead.” He comes in hot in the intro of the song with a flashback interview by the legendary Tupac talking about his life and he wished for a mentor to show him the ropes of life. As you move through the song, Walker tells you about his trials and tribulations and gives you a visual of the struggle and hardships he had to overcome; you can visualize him laying in the hospital bed attempting to talk to his loved ones. The video has just reached over 22,000 views on YouTube and is still climbing to success. With his own individual sound and creativity, Lil’ Kaycee is a force to be reckoned with in the music industry. With hit after hit being made, he is truly making a statement in today’s music industry and is setting the bar for good music.
