Sy Ari Da Kid is putting heartfelt bars on full display in his latest album “It Was Unwritten,” separating himself from the common flows and subject matters of most music today, as he explained on Twitter.
“This “It Was Unwritten” album is not for clout/radio. I did this 1 not only for myself & the people but for those who truly appreciate & miss that true 90s hip hop music.” He began. “When a story was being told from the soul of an artist to as soon as you hear it you feel their pain.”
The album features fellow lyrical gurus Big K.R.I.T., CyHi The Prynce and T.I. and gives off a nostalgic feel, as remnants of ’90s rap encase the project throughout each of its 14 tracks, each of which exploring forgiveness, love and a host of other life lessons that have molded him into a man.
This is his first project since last years joint mixtape “2 Sides Of a Story” with longtime friend, Paxquiao.
Listen as Sy takes you on his journey, you may take away a life lesson or two.
