Off the heels of an incredible Verzuz battle with 2 Chainz, Maybach Music Group head honcho, Rick Ross drops the “Pinned To The Cross” single, featuring R&B artist, Finn Matthews.
Addressing the influx of racism over the soulful production of Fuse and AraabMuzik, Ross opens the track saying, “The city young black men we’re now living in a state of public emergency. Middle class and poor people be targeted every day dealing with so much hostility.”
Ross doesn’t shy away from adding a couple of hot topics in his first verse, rapping, “Soon as Dre at the roof, she file for divorce. Angels go get a broke, never making no loss. Terry Crews is another coon who was basically bought.”
If you’re a fan of Ross, “Pinned To The Cross” doesn’t disappoint, and you’ll find yourself listening to it a few times, trying to catch everything he spits.
