Nilla's Diary

Nilla Allin is an artist you should definitely keep on your radar this year, as she’s someone who’s guaranteed to blow.

Female rappers are currently dominating the rap scene, from Megan thee Stallion, to Cardi B, to Rubi Rose — women are taking the strides necessary to make themselves known in the industry. Nilla Allin, a Los Angeles native, is now taking her place at the table with her new initiative, Nilla’s Diary.

Nilla, best known for her viral Twitter freestyles and TikTok sketches, proves to her fans that she is much more than simply a “girl who raps on Twitter.”

Nilla’s Diary is by far the most susceptible project I’ve ever worked on, and I believe it is the most vulnerable thing I’ve ever worked on,” Nilla Allin said in a recent interview.

Others will be able to relate to this body of work since each song evokes a different emotion (anger, shame, perplexity, and eventually love and happiness). Nilla shares with her audience a journey of intense emotion, finding poetic inspiration for the entire project from her handwritten diaries. The five-track album explores all facets of friendships and relationships, as well as the ups and downs that come with them.

Nilla, a UC San Diego graduate, content producer, influencer, and performer who is now concentrating her abilities on her rap career, proves to her audience that variety is key. She demonstrates to fans that you don’t have to be confined to one road, style, sound, or vocation; you can do it all if you put your heart and soul into it.

“If you’re a confident, ambitious, and genuine person who doesn’t take anyone’s bullsh*t, you will definitely love my music,” Nilla adds.

Nillas’ particular favorite, “Letter to my Ex-BF,” is a musical tribute to her artistry’s unpredictability.

“Letter to my EX BF’ tells the tale of a broken friendship,” she explains. :As many can relate, the loss of a bestie – a true ride or die best friend – often hurts more than the breakup from a significant other and can be just as toxic, if not more.”

“Letter to my Ex-BF” and the four tracks that accompany it are now available to stream across all platforms.

Stay tapped in with Nilla Allin for more music coming this year.
