When Lil Baby said that 2020 was his turn, he meant business. As the year comes to a close, the QC front-runner has been dropping nothing but heat.

His latest single, which is a contribution to the Queen & Slim Soundtrack, “Catch The Sun”, is no exception. On the Hit-Boy produced track, Lil Baby gives us a glimpse into his inner personal turmoils as he raps about the struggle to stay on the right path, as well as being racially profiled where he resides, and alas finding peace as he croons smoothly on the hook “If we take off now, we can catch the sun.”

While the entire soundtrack has the potential to live amongst some of the greatest soundtracks of our generation, “Catch The Sun” is a glimpse into the film’s unfolding storyline, giving it standout potential. The mellow record follows last week’s “Woah” and “Toast Up”, both met with exceptional reviews. The Queen & Slim soundtrack also features new music from Megan Thee Stallion, 6LACK and the legendary Lauryn Hill.

The highly anticipated film is set to be released on Wednesday, November 27th, starring “Get Out” star Daniel Kaluuya and Jodie Turner-Smith, in her first starring feature-film role.
