On Sunday, H.E.R. debuted her uplifting ballad “Sometimes,” at the 62nd Grammy Awards on Sunday in a stunning performance, alongside four horn players and four string players who joined her as she played the melody on her piano before switching gears to her guitar. The singer earned five nominations at this years awards, including Record of the Year for “Hard Place” and Album of the Year for I Used to Know Her.

“I had a plan, I had it mapped out, I knew where I was going when I left out.” H.E.R. sang in the ballad centered around life’s unpredictability.
Soon after the performance, the D’Mile produced track was available on streaming sites.
