Reportedly a prosecutor has revealed rapper NBA Youngboy aka Kentrell Gaulden is being federally investigated.
In September of 2020, NBA Youngboy along with several others were arrested during the filming of a music video. Fourteen firearms, three grams of marijuana and a dose of hydrocodone were discovered during the arrest, which resulted in drug charges for the Louisiana based rapper.
Authorities state they arrested individuals from both “Never Broke Again” and “Bottom Boy Gorilla” whom they describe as street gangs.
In January, Youngboy’s attorney, James Manasseh filed a motion to release teh recording artist from his bond supervision since four months had passed and no charges had been filed. On Monday (Feb. 8), District Attorney Hillar Moore III responded stating “The matter is still being reviewed by our office and the U.S. Attorney’s Office.”
However, no further details are available due to the U.S. Attorney’s Office policy not to reveal investigations are being conducted.
