Beloved and oftentimes, embattled rapper NBA Youngboy has never shied away from his issues, pouring much of the hardships that he has faced into his music. Now, it appears that the rapper may be struggling, dealing with much more than fans are privy to.
Over the weekend, Youngboy sent his fans into a panic when he tweeted “SUICIDE.”
Please and well wishes poured in on social media as users became increasingly worried about the rappers state of mind. Now, he has announced that he will be taking a much needed break after the release of his 38 Baby 2 project this week.
“After Friday I’ll never release a song/album again until I’m in a better situation #PROMISE,” Youngboy revealed.
Between the aggravated assault case that his girlfriend Yaya Mayweather is facing for stabbing one of his children’s mothers, to the ongoing claims of domestic abuse from former girlfriends, and not to mention his lyrics which paint a vivid picture of drug use and past traumas, an hiatus is long overdue for the young rapper.
Hopefully YB will receive the help that he deserves during this break.
