TBE Mus’ab is one of the quiet storms of Central New York and like the predominantly grey days that plagues that part of the state, the pictures that his words paint illiterates how many dark shades it takes to make up orange and blue.
The Syracuse NY rapper/producer grew up in poverty stricken areas, moving from neighborhood to neighborhood as mentioned in a prior interview on bleedorange.com where he learned different skills to survive. A product of trauma such as exposure to domestic violence, drug abuse and loss of important figures in his life TBE Mus’ab began to deal with mental health issues in which he highlights in a series of videos he has on his YouTube channel in his Playlist named ‘In The Mind Of A Madman’.
Amongst other things TBE Mus’ab is a family-oriented man who advocates for mental health awareness and is provisionally certified in the state of New York as a ‘Peer Specialist’, however he chooses to lead by example than to officially provide treatment to his peers. Explaining that there are a number of reasons to he takes this stance but the main reason is to provide hope to those who might be on the verge of giving up by showing them that he’s been to the darkest of places withstanding pressure only formidable for the forging of diamonds but with patience and perseverance he came out with more value than can be priced.
Years of experience has taught TBE Mus’ab to try to be a few steps ahead of what is apparent. Owner and co-owner of a few businesses keeps him busy and steadily planning for the future in which he hopes you will see more of.
