Born and raised in Los Angeles, rapper Money Mo displays his versatile flow and authentic lyricism on each track. After releasing his first single on Soundcloud a few years back, Mo started focusing on music during the pandemic. The downtime allowed him to not only work on his craft, but also get in the studio and collaborate with several producers.
From an early age, music has been a serious passion for Money Mo. His parents would play music in the house, making it a big part of his life. Now, the rapper makes music for other people to enjoy and make them feel good. His main goal? To become one of the most successful artists showcasing his unique melodic flow. “I want to use my music with different genres of beats that all kinds of people can relate to,” he said. He also wants to create a brand that extends beyond music – a clothing line, a record label and a business.
Last month, Money Mo dropped his single “Crazy Day” along with the visual, which has already garnered more than 31k views on YouTube. He’s also set to release his upcoming single “Pina Colada” in late April. And to top it all off, he’s already recorded 6 tracks with Nick Cannon, who first discovered Money Mo after his trainer (whom they both share) played one of his songs.
Although Mo is still in high school (he’s 17 years old!), he already has plans for the future. “I’m a 17-year-old pursuing my dream and love of music. I want to help unite people in general, make them laugh, dance, and smile. I want them to know I’m one to watch – one who will make a positive mark on the world with my music and mindset.”
