Known entertainment publicist, Lisa Persaud is no stranger to collaborating with her celebrity friends and giving back to the community. Persaud’s community contributions include facilitating Celebrity Meet and Greet for A.P.P.L.E in Toronto a program for troubled youth – bringing celebrities such as Belly, Preme etc…to share their inspiring success stories. She has collaborated with Fabulous, Roc Nation, D’usse, Diddy, Ciroc, Kevin Durant on charitable events in New York City.

In a year of turmoil, covid, increased divorce rates, discouraged businesses and brands – Lisa understands the difficulty faced by entrepreneurs, mainly during the time of the pandemic. She has guided companies, artists, and professionals about the ways to survive during a time of crisis. Lisa has always been the mentor for many when it comes to public relations, but in her personal life, she was a single mother, who had to face many challenges. During the time of the pandemic when she was pregnant, she faced many challenges as a woman, boss, and single mother. To her belief, her strength was motivated by her career – a career that gave her remote access, financial stability which blessed her journey. Realizing that, not all women are as fortunate. With that thought, the LCP Foundation was born. Named after her son Liam Carter Persaud who will head the foundation and follow his mother’s lead in giving back to the community.

LCP aims to help the women who aspire to become entrepreneurs. This is especially for those women who are the victim of domestic violence or are single mothers and looking forward to coming out of the past trauma and suffering and building their careers and rebuild their confidence and life.

The foundation will provide a benefit for single mothers who want to pursue jobs in the entertainment business but don’t have the financial means to do so. Our contribution will go toward empowering, educating, and assisting these women with resources and help.
