Lupe Fiasco is paying homage to George Floyd in a touching way, with the release of the dedication single, “Rest Up Big Homie… We Got It From Here.”
The track comes after the Chicago rapper announced that he had finished an entire project with Kaelin Ellis, an up and coming producer who reached out to the rapper via Twitter last month. This latest single is the result of their chance collaboration.
As for now, “Rest Up Big Homie… We Got It From Here” has only been released on Lupe’s Instagram. However, judging by the 59k views that it has already garnished, it will likely be available on streaming platforms in the upcoming days.
