Dr. Khan, also known by his rap name Lazarus, has been tremendously busy this year. Working on the frontline of the COVID-19 pandemic as a full time hospitalist physician, he has been making waves on social media with Hip Hop icons such as Chuck D and LL Cool J and on platforms such as Vlad TV and Sway in the Morning. Alongside his medical profession, he is also a full time Hip Hop artist who streams to millions of fans and tours the world with the legendary Wu-Tang Clan. His latest release “Medical Marijuana” combines his Hip Hop & Medical personas and details in on the medical benefits of Cannabis.

Pulling in Hip Hop icon Redman onto the song, it delivers a laid back vibe that any weed smoker or grower can relate to. After a shout out from Redman, Lazarus goes into a verse detailing how the controversial Cannabis sativa has shown a benefit to medical conditions such as Multiple Myeloma, Multiple Sclerosis, Glaucoma, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Crohn’s Disease. The track was produced by Shawn Ski and BiggVon. It’s a very unique way of presenting the positives of smoking marijuana that is surely to get the attention of the Cannabis industry especially since the song is being presented by an actual medical professional.
