On June 30th Marcia will launch the Couture KlosetSlayer Swim Line. The fashion industry and KlosetSlayer Lovasss all over have been buzzing about the upcoming release of the Swimsuit Collection since Marcia announced it earlier this year. I asked Marcia about the collection and she tells me: “The swimwear line caters to all sizes because we believe everyone should have a bathing suit they actually love and feel confident in. A lot of suits out now, especially the women’s don’t offer full coverage, and if they do, they aren’t so trendy or sexy. Our one piece’s are made with exclusive slimming fabric to compliment every type of figure. And our men’s swim trunks include zip pockets so you will never lose your phone.” She also tells me that she drew her inspiration from “Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico was a huge inspiration behind my swimwear line. Embracing the beauty of the island along with the tropical vibes … but I also get the same inspiration off the street … streets are always the real runways so many diverse people with different styles.

Marcia Arnsparger Santiago, who prides herself on being hands on with each design every step of the way, custom created each piece in The KlosetSlayer Collection. Each design that makes it into the Collection has been created by Marcia herself. She is heavily involved with overseeing the process of her designs coming to life. From sketching designs, to hand sewing samples, to traveling around the world for fabrics and inspiration, all the way down to the runway, Marcia is the brains behind the operation. All of her creations are brought to life by the NYC Garment District know the designer on a first name basis. “I am 100 percent hands on and chose all of my fabrics in person. I like to see the fabrics and material as well as feel them before they become a part of my brand. Once I have a vision or a design in my head, I already know exactly what type of fabric I’m looking for to bring it to life. The Fabric Shops in the NYC Garment District all know me on a first name basis. I’m going there since the 2014 launch of KlosetSlayer and even before that.” All of the designs in the collection are one of a kind custom made while others go on to become her very best sellers. One thing is for sure – each piece is unique and you can be sure you’ll SLAY in the Kollection!

Stay tuned for KlosetSlayer at the Upcoming September NYC Fashion Week Show where designs will be front and center for the first time post COVID!
