Justin Bieber is being accused of sexual assault by two women and now the singer is taking legal action. Over the weekend, one of the women took to social media, tweeting about her assault that happened on March 9, 2014 in Austin, Texas. Danielle claims that Bieber and another man invited her and two friends to the Four Seasons hotel, where the singer took her to a room and assaulted her. “He then asked me to join him in bed. That’s when I asked myself, ‘how in the world is this normal? i’m in a HOTEL ROOM with THE Justin Bieber,’” she tweeted. “If he comes across this, you know who I am. I know you remember me. I hope your life is hell after this and you drown in guilt.” The tweet was later deleted and the Twitter account has since been deactivated.
The second accuser, named Kadi, also tweeted about Justin assaulting her in New York City in May 2015. She says Justin’s bodyguard invited her to his hotel room after a meet-and-greet. “He started kissing me, touching my body and caressing me,” she said. “I asked him to stop and continued to say that I cannot have sex with anyone prior to marriage.” Kadi claims that she’s had to seek treatment for her mental health after the assault, however in a series of tweets dating back to June 2015, she wrote that she’s never met Justin.
The singer has denied all allegations.
Justin is now suing both women for defamation, saying that these claims are “factually impossible.” According to legal documents, the singer has “indisputable documentary evidence” that will prove these sexual assault claims are “outrageous, fabricated lies.” Bieber is seeking over $20 million in damages.
