After a five-year break, Jazmine Sullivan has made her return back onto the music scene and she is not letting up. Following the release of her single “Lost”, which dropped in August. Sullivan will be performing at the 2020 Soul Train Awards this Sunday on BET.
Hip Hop Weekly host, Driune Santana, caught up with the “Pick Up Your Feelings” singer as she discussed what we can expect from the new era of Jazmine Sullivan.
“I think they can expect a lot of the same things. I’m always trying to be as honest as possible and I think that’s what people relate to. I am a woman who has grown from a girl to a woman and that I’m still learning. I want to put those experiences in my music.”
2020 Soul Train Awards airs on Sunday, November 29th at 8 PM on BET Networks.
